It was a hardware problem where the wire from the wifi adaptor got cut where it passes up from the base ralijk the screen. raalink Although there are many models i am not aware of would have wireless adapter from above list, but i am not aware of it.
I’ve recently purchased this notebook which came with Windows 8, since I loathed this OS I’ve wiped it off and installed Windows 7 64 bits. After HP help desk instructed me to reload drives and all the other common suggested fixes it was just as bad. Also – what is the version of the Ralink driver you downloaded?
